There’s a lot of self-help about: so many blogs, books and inspirational quotes.
They don’t seem much use though when you become so overwhelmed that putting one foot in front of another, replying to a simple email or just opening a letter is just too difficult.
What’s the problem?
How can something so small become so momentous?
This has happened to me recently due to bereavement and it’s something I had to work am working through.
I have a synced diary on my laptop, tablet and phone as well as a number of very good productivity apps and a big whiteboard on the wall, but it’s me that has to get things done.
I’ve started writing tasks down in a book.
Sometimes I write just one task and then tick it when I’ve done it.
Now I’m moving forward: one step at a time.
